Ali Best Death, Obituary – After hearing the tragic news that Ali Best had passed away, each and every one of us has been left with an intense feeling of loss. Because he was one of the first people to get involved in the initiative with the intention of helping other people, Ali was an essential member of the team that worked on Keeping Others Ahead of the Curve (Keeping Ahead).
She was instrumental in the development of Keeping Abreast, from its early days in Norwich as a modest, ad hoc support group to its current form as Keeping Abreast, which is the name under which it is known today. In those early days, Keeping Abreast was known as a small group that met on an as-needed basis.
Ali’s promise to continue helping as many women and their families as she can who are dealing with the prospect of breast reconstruction as a direct result of having breast cancer is one that we respect and honor, and we will do everything we can to ensure that she keeps her word. After that, in 2009, she was appointed to the position of Trustee, and she remained in that role until the end of the year 2016.
She was an active member during this time who participated in a variety of Keeping Abreast activities while maintaining a cheerful and optimistic attitude throughout the entirety of the process. Ali’s dedication to assisting the cause remained unwavering despite the fact that she had stepped down from her position as a Trustee for the charitable organization. As a way to express her gratitude to the people she’d met through Keeping Abreast and to show her support for them, she attended the final “More Than Just Fashion” shows in October.
Because we thought you might find the following comments from the people who began Keeping Abreast interesting, we decided to share them with you. Because of the loss of such a wonderful friend, our hearts are broken, and we want her husband and children to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
