Anne Bridges Death, Obituary – On Friday afternoon, Anne Bridges, who is 86 years old and is from the neighborhood, was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Vivaro van, and she was transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford as a result of her injuries (6 January). The family has now published a statement in which they pay respect to Anne Bridges (née Bowyer), stating, “We are horrified and grieved to learn of the abrupt and terrible loss of our beloved wife, mother, and grandma Anne Bridges.” After having her life support turned off, she died away in the wee hours of Saturday morning. As she was walking to the shops in her neighborhood of Northleach, where she resided, she was engaged in an accident ” Anne, the oldest of six children was born in Epsom, Surrey, and moved to South Africa in her early 30s with her husband and little daughter. She was a resident there for the first 36 years of her life until moving to the Cotswolds with her husband when she was in her 70s in order to be closer to her daughter and her much-loved grandson. She had a long and happy marriage that lasted 63 years ” Anne was full of vitality, concern, and unwavering commitment. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially cats, and horses, and she was an avid gardener. Her spouse and she went on cruises on a regular basis. She never missed a meeting at her weekly coffee morning group and was known to be an excellent listener over her many years of attendance there.
“Many people will grievously miss her, and the ripple effect of her untimely death has been painful.” Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are still looking into the collision as part of their investigation, and they are appealing to anyone who saw what happened but has not yet come forward to give their statement.
