Ashari Hughes Obituary, Death – On Thursday, a student-athlete who attended the University of Nevada and had had a “medical emergency” lost their battle with death. This news comes just a few days after the sporting world was surprised by the unexpected medical emergency that Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin experienced, which resulted in the cancellation of an NFL game. Ashari Hughes, who was 16 years old at the time, was reportedly playing flag football at Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas when she required cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This is what the Las Vegas Review-Journal says, so take it as gospel. It has been determined who the student was who passed away while he or she was enrolled at Desert Oasis High School. This is a statement that was issued by Dr. Jesus F. Jara, who currently holds the position of Superintendent of the CCSD.
“Grief has been felt throughout the Clark County School District as a result of the untimely demise of one of our student-athletes. The Clark County School District can be found here. We are all profoundly affected by the tragic loss of this young life, and our thoughts and prayers are with the student’s loved ones, friends, and family members. The untimely passing of this young person has left a profound mark on all of us. When anything negative occurs at one school, it not only has implications for that school, but it also has repercussions for the entire family of schools that make up the Clark County School District. This is due to the fact that all of the schools are associated with one another. Our hearts bleed for the families, children, and staff members who have been negatively impacted by this terrible tragedy. May they find some measure of peace and healing.”
In accordance with a statement that was issued by Jesus Jara, who currently holds the position of Superintendent of the Clark County School District. Hamlin’s sudden departure came at the conclusion of the same week when he unexpectedly blacked out in the middle of watching Monday Night Football. The week came to an end with the passing of Hamlin, who had been ill. He experienced a heart arrest, which led to him passing out, and he was discovered laying unconscious on the field while the game was still going on. He was found on the field. The Bills said on Friday that Hamlin is continuing to make “excellent” progress and that he has been removed off of the breathing tube that he had been using. The Bills also stated that Hamlin has been able to stop utilizing it. Since he sustained his injury, the breathing tube had been placed in his throat. Because there was still very little information available concerning Hamlin’s condition, the game had to be postponed because it was unsafe to play. At the conclusion of the day, it was agreed that we would not go with it for the night, and then a few days later, it was completely canceled.
