Barbara Inderlin Obituary, Death – After a valiant battle against cancer that lasted for a long time, Barbara Inderlin, who lived in Cranston and was 74 years old, passed away in peace on December 22, 2022. She was the daughter of Joseph A. and Mildred C. (Spargo) Inderlin, both of whom passed away, and was born in Providence. Barbara is a graduate of Barry College and Rhode Island College, where she earned her master’s degree in social work after completing her undergraduate degree at Barry.
Barbara worked in the field of mental health until she retired as a grant specialist from Community Care Alliance, where she had devoted her entire life. She was a Franciscan of the third order when she joined their community. She was a voracious reader who also enjoyed taking photographs, going on adventures, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her siblings, Meg Inderlin of Greenville, Rory Mancini (John) of Cranston, Joe Inderlin (Maria) of Charlotte, NC, Chris Inderlin (Jean) of Warwick, and Jeannie Roy (Jim) of Coventry; as well as her closest friend, Ruth Fagan of Cranston. Meg Inderlin is from Greenville, and Rory Mancini is from Cranston. Joe Inderlin is from Charlotte, Barbara loved being an aunt to Kara Inderlin, Kristen Mancini, Tayla Inderlin, Kelsey Mancini and Evan Mancini. She was the sister of deceased individuals Fran Inderlin Taft, Steven Inderlin, and Paul Inderlin, as well as the sister-in-law of deceased individuals Wendy Inderlin and Mary Maguire. She passed away.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10am, beginning at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory located at 1278 Park Avenue in Cranston. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which will take place at 11am in the St. Mary Church located at 1525 Cranston Street in Cranston. VISITATION from 9-10am.
