Betty Boehler Obituary, On January 3, 2023, Betty Boehler, one of the people responsible for founding the CNSC, passed away. It is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you. She was a great and generous woman who will be remembered for all of time to come. Betty, I am grateful to you for all of the help you have provided throughout the years. RIP The town of New Bedford – At St. Luke’s Hospital on August 25, 2008, Betty Boehler, who resided in passed away. Her late husband’s name was Frederick C. N. Boehler, and she was his widow.
Her parents, Howard N. Hill and Dorothy (Villiers), both passed away before she was born. She attended the Up to the time of her retirement, she worked for LifeStream Inc. in the Fall River area as a bookkeeper. She was the former proprietor of Boehler’s Garage. She had previously served as a leader for both Girl Scouts and Brownies, and she was a member of both the Ladies Friendly Circle and the East Freetown Woman’s Club. She cherished activities such as knitting, reading, exploring new places, testing out new recipes, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones, especially her children.
Those who survive her include her daughters, Nancy A. Boehler and Martha A. Deneault and her husband Roger L., all; her sister, Carol V. Blair, also of East Freetown; her five grandchildren, Robin Hallett, Roger L. Deneault, Jr., Matthew Deneault, Marc Deneault, and Melissa Deneault, all ; her great-granddaughter, Rachel Hallett, also of East Freetown; and

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 PM and again from 7:00-9:00 PM.
The funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Kirby Funeral Home.
