William “Bill” Arthur Obituary, Death – On January 2, Bill Arthur passed away while he was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. He had been ailing for some time. He was a devoted partner and parent, as well as an all-around beautiful person. He passed away too soon. By the time he was 76 years old, he had already had the opportunity to have a positive influence on the lives of a significant number of people. He was a man of honesty and was justifiably proud of the many things he had accomplished in his life, some of which included playing football, founding his own business, and most recently serving as the Town Supervisor of Chazy, where he had spent the majority of his life. He had spent the majority of his life in Chazy.
He had many interests, some of which included playing the drums in a bagpipe band, rooting for the New York Giants, and going for drives in his MG sports car, which was a cute little green one. He also liked to root for the New York Knicks. He treasured the natural beauty of Lake George, but more than anything else, he cherished spending time with his son, daughter, and wife of more than fifty years. As an alternative for the funeral services that were supposed to take place at this time, the family has decided to host an Irish Celebration of Life in the spring instead of those services.

Bill, as many of you are aware, was always one to tell a good story, regardless of whether or not the audience wanted to hear it. He was always one to share his experiences. It would mean a lot to his family and friends, as well as anybody else who knew and cared about him, if you could please feel free to share any memories or images you may have of him. His loved ones and friends would enjoy reflecting on all of the joyful moments they spent together.
