Billy Pritchett Obituary, Death – Billy Pritchett, who was from Enterprise and was 51 years old when he passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, in his home was where he was found. He was born on March 22, 1971 in Meridian, Mississippi to parents named Gail and Billy Wayne “Doby” Pritchett, and he was named after his grandfather. In Stonewall, Mississippi, Billy and his two sisters, Tonia, his older sister, and Christy, his younger sister, grew up together. Tonia is Billy’s older sister. Christy is Billy’s younger sister. After graduating from Quitman High School, he planned to immediately begin working in the oil industry after completing his studies.
Over the course of more than three decades, Billy would spend the most of his professional life working for Aro and Rowan Industries in countries outside of the United States. Billy liked the time that he could spend outside in the fresh air. He included among the most delightful experiences of his life those times when he went fishing, hunting, or drove his tractor. He did all of these things. He found the greatest joy in the time he was able to spend with his kids, Colby, Dusty, Caleb, and Kyle, as well as his grandson, Gus.
If Billy wasn’t hanging out with the guys or adventuring in the great outdoors, you could probably find him in his signature overalls and a white t-shirt, presiding over the grill or smoker as he prepared dinner for a friend, neighbor, or even a complete stranger. If Billy wasn’t hanging out with the guys or adventuring in the great outdoors, he was most likely fishing or hunting. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, brother, and uncle to his nieces and nephews, and he brought something special to the lives of everyone who had the good fortune to meet him.
He passed away recently. He was a loving and giving man who was known for his kindness to others. In addition to that, he was quick to laugh and possessed an adventurous attitude. Billy is survived by his wife Wendy, his mother Gail, his sons Dusty (Whitney and grandson Gus), Caleb (Christian), and Kyle Pritchett; his sisters Tonia (Don) Lee and Christy (Josh) Perkins; a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a large number of lifelong friends who were brothers at heart. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
