Bob Grisham Obituary, Death – Bob Grisham, who had served as the longstanding athletic director at Saint Martin’s University for many years until retiring in October, suddenly suffered an aneurysm and passed away instantly. Grisham had served in this capacity until October when he announced his retirement. Grisham was an advocate for the athletic programs of Saint Martin’s Campus, the community around the university, and the athletic conference as a whole for more than 37 years. He served in this capacity. A ceremony will take place on the grounds of the institution, and in the not-too-distant future, further information concerning the occasion will be made accessible to the public.
“We owe a significant amount of the expansion of our athletic programs as well as the success of our student-athletes both inside and outside of the classroom to Bob and his leadership,” stated Jennifer Bonds-Raacke, Ph.D., the president of Saint Martin’s University. Bonds-Raacke is a holder of a Doctor of Philosophy degree. “He will be greatly missed by the innumerable people who were fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to call him a friend. We ask that you keep his family and friends, as well as everyone in this community, in your thoughts and prayers. Grisham made it his job throughout his whole life to “raise the bar” in every and every circumstance.
He was constantly pushing our coaches and student-athletes to get better, which included everything from expanding our athletic facilities and introducing new programs to forging relationships with other organizations in order to build up the support of our sports. This was all done in order to build up our sports support system. During the 2022 Hall of Fame/Hall of Honor awards, Grisham said, “I am proud of what our staff, coaches, and student-athletes have accomplished with their successes in winning athletic and academic awards, honors, and championships.” Grisham was speaking about the accomplishments of the team’s staff, coaches, and student-athletes.
Grisham was discussing the successes of the team’s administrative personnel, coaching staff, and student-athletes when he made his remarks. It is illustrative of what we have been working toward, which is to raise the bar in terms of the quality of our products and services. We are conscious of the fact that the passing of Grisham will have an impact on a vast population of individuals. His family, friends, and the community of Saints will grieve deeply over his passing because their lives were enriched by Bob’s larger-than-life personality, his hilarious one-liners, and his infectious laughter. His chuckle was one of those laughs that could put a smile on anyone’s face, and his laughter was contagious.
