Brittney Hayes Obituary, Death – Two people lost their lives as a result of an accident that took place on Thursday afternoon in the eastern part of Alabama. Alabama State Troopers have identified Brittney D. Hayes, age 21, as one of the victims in this incident. Brittney D. Hayes is a native of the Piedmont region of the United States. The second individual who was slain was a resident of Georgia who was 18 years old; however, state troopers do not disclose the identity of juveniles who are killed in incidents involving the state’s police.
According to Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey, the accident was caused by a single vehicle and took occurred on Cherokee County Road 175 about five miles north of Piedmont at around 4:30 in the afternoon. Both of the people who were killed were riding as passengers in a 2003 Ford Explorer that went off the road, hit with a dirt mound, and flipped over. Both of the people who were killed were traveling in the same direction as the vehicle. According to Bailey, neither one of the individuals was wearing a seat belt to keep them from moving around.
Both individuals were ejected from the vehicle, and the location of their fatalities was subsequently confirmed there. Cameron Drummond, 20, from Georgia, and Blake Broome, 22, from Piedmont, were both injured. Cameron Drummond was driving, while Blake Broome was a passenger. After they were discovered, they were transported to the Regional Medical Center Hospital to be treated.
