Bryan Betts Obituary, Death – The news of the demise of Bryan Betts, one of the Wingham Tigers’ oldest surviving members, left the club in a state of mourning. Betts had reached the age of 91. Back in the 1950s, Bryan was a member of the Tigers’ baseball team and played for them. He then served on the club’s committee for many years, eventually becoming president of the organization, and eventually earned life membership.
After many years of playing at the Showground, the Wingham Sporting Complex became the new home field for the club in recent years, and Bryan was a significant contributor to the club’s success in making the transition. During this difficult time, please accept our deepest condolences on behalf of our whole company to the family of Bryan.
It is necessary for there to be a destination at the end of every journey. The journey of the deceased person here on earth has sadly come to an end now that they have passed away. No one wants to die. Even people who have a strong desire to visit heaven do not wish to perish in order to accomplish their goal. And yet, we will all arrive at the same place someday: the grave. No one has ever been able to avoid it, which is exactly how it should be given that death is almost certainly the single best development in the history of life. It is the agent of change in life. It gets rid of the old things so that room can be made for the new ones.
Before he is laid to rest in the Killabakh Cemetery, the funeral service for Bryan will take place on Thursday, January 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Matthew’s Anglican Church, which is located at 7-9 Bent Street in Wingham. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
