Chris Smith Obituary, Death – Chris Grout-Smith, a good friend and an exceptional drummer who had been through cancer treatment for a very long time, passed away yesterday after putting up a heroic fight to defeat his illness. He had been suffering treatment for the disease for a very long period. For a very considerable amount of time, he had been receiving therapy for his cancer. As a direct consequence of the dissemination of this information, we are experiencing an excruciating amount of agony, and we genuinely regret having done so in the first place. The members of Chris’s family, in particular, his wife Michelle, his children, and the rest of his family are in our thoughts as they work together as a unit to overcome the challenges that they are facing at this time. In particular, we are keeping his wife Michelle, his children, and the rest of his family in our thoughts.
In addition to this, the entirety of Chris’s family is now being kept in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We are positive that each and every one of you will have the same feeling of grief that we do at the loss of a person who was not only utterly outstanding but was also a superb musician. We say this because we are certain that each and every one of you will feel the same as we do. This is something that we want to convey since we are confident that every single one of you will have the same reaction. Since we are positive that each and every one of you will concur with us on this point, we do not feel the need to hedge our statements about it.
We feel obligated to bring this to your notice because we are certain that each and every one of you will agree with us that this is true, and because we are certain that you will do so. Chris, We will never, ever, ever forget you, and we will always think of you with love for as long as any one of us is still here on earth. We promise that we will never, ever, ever forget you. You are not going to be forgotten by any of us ever, ever, ever. You will be ingrained in our minds forever. Because of your departure, there is a tremendous vacuum that has been left in each and every one of our hearts, and it will take each of us a very long time to get over the fact that you are no longer a part of our lives. We hope that one day you will be able to find the peace and calm that you have been looking for such a long time. You are a much-loved brother in the music business, and we pray that you will be able to find it.
