Cynthia Dobish Death, Obituary – At the age of 56, Cynthia Louise “Cindy” (Landman) Dobish suddenly died away at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She called the town of East Millsboro in Pennsylvania her home. On September 30th, 1966, she was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to her parents, Wilbur Landman and Patricia (Piper) Landman, both of whom have since passed away. Her birth parents are no longer with us. The thirty-first of September is her birthday. Cindy took great pleasure in spending time in the kitchen and was always sensitive to the needs of her guests no matter what time of day it was.
When she was in the mountains, one of her favorite things to do was to cast a line in the water. She showered her dogs, Dee and Chris, with much love and devotion since she considered them to be her children. When she got together with her pals for the day, they went boating and quadding, and she had a wonderful time. Cindy and her sister Terri shared an unbreakable bond of friendship; they spent very little time apart from one another and never turned down the chance to “nip” or otherwise socialize together when it presented itself. She leaves behind her fiance, Joe Mudery; her children, Thomas Waggett and fiancee Tabatha Gemas, and Albert Waggett; her grandchildren, Elisabeth, Christopher, Nathan, Charlotte, John, Mieke, and Isabella; her brothers, Tom (Lynn) Landman, Red (Karen) Landman, and Jerry Landman; her sister, Terri Landman; and a large number of nieces and nephews, including her special nephew,
Her mother was the first member of her family to die away, and then came her brother Eugene Landman, her nephew James “J.J.” Landman, her grandparents Earl and Helen Landman and Earl and Betty Piper, and finally her brother Eugene Landman. James Landman, also known as “J.J.”, was her nephew. Her mother and her brother Eugene Landman had both gone away prior to her passing away herself. Her mother had been the first to die away. The Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, which is located in Dunbar, Pennsylvania at 28 Connellsville Street, is responsible for making the appropriate preparations.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the funeral or any of the other services, please contact them. It was decided that there would be NO PUBLIC VISITATION in the hospital in order to respect Cindy’s wishes, which are extremely important and should be honored. The “Cynthia Dobish Memorial Fund” is accepting donations at the Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home, which can be found at 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pennsylvania 15431. Donations can be sent in the care of the “Cynthia Dobish Memorial Fund.” In lieu of sending flowers, Cynthia Dobish’s family has asked that memorial contributions be sent to a fund named in her honor.
