Darius Torrence Death, Obituary, Today, the Southeast Initiative office at Columbus State University, along with the rest of the university, is in a state of sorrow in remembrance of Darius Torrence. This sentiment is shared by the whole university. Darius was assigned with a range of responsibilities over the 2019-2020 academic year, including those that are linked with the job of Student Ambassador. At the Ohio Collegiate Leadership Conference that took place in 2019, he was a keynote speaker representing the students, and he also acted as the emcee for the event that will take place the year after that.
The year 2020 has been set as the date for the conference. Darius was a considerate and affable individual who also has a strong sense of humor. All of these were characteristics that could be found in him. His grin was the kind of thing that could make an entire room look brighter than it actually was. He had that kind of effect on people. He was effective in bettering the circumstances of the lives of a significant number of individuals as a result of his thoughtfulness, dedication, and dogged determination.
His sister, Gwendolyn Clark, and his father, Roger Wayne Torrence, Sr., both passed away before he did. He was the youngest of three children. He was the only member of his family to have lived to adulthood. At that point in time, he was the only member of his family to have survived the tragedy. His mother, Georgia Clark Torrence, and his siblings Roger Torrence of Conover, Thomas Beatty of Hildebran, and Sharon Clark of Mt. Holly, North Carolina, as well as his children Jamar Torrence of Taylorsville, Darius Torrence of Hickory, and Tiesha Torrence of Newton, as well as his aunt Sarah Clark (Johnny Lail) of Catawba, all survive him.
Additionally, his children Jamar Torrence of Taylorsville Furthermore, one of his children, Jamar Torrence, who resides in Taylorsville In addition to this, Jamar Torrence, one of his children, currently resides in Taylorsville. In addition to this, his descendants are the individuals who will succeed him after they have passed away. He was someone who a very big number of people looked up to as a role model because he demonstrated to them that it is possible to accomplish what they set out to do and that they should never give up trying to do so.
As a direct consequence of this, a great number of others achieved the same level of success as him. Because of the enthusiasm and joy that he brought to both our department and his community in general, he will be remembered for as long as anybody can remember. This is because he brought both to the table. Because of this very reality, he will never be forgotten for any of the myriad of explanations that exist to explain why. Darius, you are irreplaceable in this world since there is no one else quite like you and you are highly respected.
