David Francis Obituary, Death – Mr. David Francis, who had lived his entire life in the same house, passed away peacefully at the age of 61 on Friday afternoon, July 30, 2021, in the comfort of his own home, which he had occupied his entire life. He was surrounded by his immediate family members at that moment. He was the son of the late Bruce W.H. Francis, Jr. and the late Delores M. “Dori” (Kramlick) Francis of Waynesboro. Both of his parents passed away before he was born. Both of his parents made their home in Waynesboro during his childhood. It was on March 20th, 1960 that he was brought into this world. In 1978, when David earned his diploma from Waynesboro Area Senior High School, he did it as a member of the school’s graduating class for that year. He went on to acquire his diploma.
On April 1, 2005, he wed the woman who would go on to become his wife, and they have been married ever since. Robin (Kipe) was the bride’s maiden name. More than three decades of David’s life were spent at the Frick Company in Waynesboro, which eventually evolved into Johnson Controls. David was employed there in the capacity of machinist. During that period, the company went through a rebranding process and became known as Johnson Controls. He was a good-natured and generous man who possessed a great deal of inner fortitude and a remarkable capacity to find answers to difficult questions. He possessed an exceptional talent for overcoming challenging obstacles and developing effective solutions. He was proud of his accomplishments and treasured the time he could spend with his loved ones and close friends.
He was pleased with his overall performance. David’s favorite things to do included going to concerts, riding his scooter around the mountains, going to yard sales, and hiking. These were some of the activities that he enjoyed doing the most. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by their two sons, Andrew Francis and Eric Francis, both of Riverview, Florida; one step-daughter, Haley Sites of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Pamela Francis of State College, Pennsylvania and Steven Francis (Connie) of Waynesboro; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. His step-daughter, Haley Sites, resides in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. Haley Sites, his stepdaughter, lives in Fayetteville, which is located in the state of Pennsylvania. His stepdaughter, Haley Sites, calls the city of Fayetteville, which is located in the state of Pennsylvania, home.
Not only had he lost his own father, but one of his brothers named William Francis had also passed away before he did. Before he passed away, he had lost both of his parents. A Celebration of Life will be conducted on the following Sunday, September 26, 2021, commencing at 2:00 PM and continuing until 4:00 PM in remembrance of the individual who passed away. The date and time of the event are still to be determined.
