David McCelland Obituary, Death – The Club is very sad to hear that the brother of our well-known goalkeeping coach, David McClelland, has died suddenly and too soon. The death happened quickly and out of the blue.
During this hard time, David and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. Chairman Ronnie Millar sends his deepest condolences and sympathies on behalf of everyone at the Crusaders Football Club. He also asks us to think about and pray for the McCelland family over the next few days and weeks. Condolences In answer to David Mcc: Robert McClelland, David McClelland’s father, died before David.
David leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Diana (Debije) McClelland; sons Brandon and Blake McClelland; sisters Julie (Craig) Hyatt and Brittany (Clint) McQuade; brother Michael McClelland; step-mom Diane McClelland; and nieces Madison, Emily, and Caitlin. During this hard time, the family wants to thank all of their family and friends who have been there for them. David was so proud of his sons that he beamed. David taught all of his sons how to play different sports, and he loved every minute of it.
He was a big fan of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He has never stopped cheering for his teams, and he will never stop. On Sunday, July 10, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, people will be able to pay their respects at the Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, which is at 3393 Broadway in Grove City. At this time, all of your friends and family members are welcome to tell you a story.
