David Vittle Obituary, Death – The Club is grieved to learn of the passing of Sports stalwart David Vittle, who proudly represented the club as a player, captain, and committee man for over 50 years. David Vittle had been a member of the club for over 50 years.
He had a no-nonsense attitude and was a natural born leader, both of which earned him widespread acclaim as one of the very greatest center backs of his era.
David was a member of an outstanding sports team that achieved numerous successes and accolades, such as four Pembrokeshire League Division 1 championships, four senior cups (including the photo below from March 1965, when we defeated Hakin 5-3), and the runner-up spot in the West Wales Cup.
Tomorrow, during one of our games, we will observe a moment of silence in honor of David, and our thoughts are with Cynthia and the rest of David’s family, as well as all of David’s other friends.
