Devin Willock Death, Obituary – Devin Willock of New Milford, New Jersey, Georgia Bulldogs football player has died following a car accident in Athens, Georgia on Sunday, January 15, 2022. Four members of the Georgia Bulldogs football team were engaged in a car accident early on Sunday morning, just a few hours after the team had celebrated winning back-to-back national championships. Two of the people involved in the accident were killed, while the other two were injured. The names of the two people who were killed in the car accident that took place in Athens, Georgia, have been made public by the University of Georgia Athletic Association.
The names of the deceased are Devin Willock, 20, an offensive lineman, and Chandler LeCroy, 24, a member of the recruiting staff. Both were from the University of Georgia. The group believes that the conditions of the two other people who were injured are not considered to be life-threatening at this time. Willock was reportedly a passenger in an SUV that was involved in a collision at roughly 2:45 a.m. local time in Athens, according to the reports from the police. Local time is GMT -5. The authorities claim that the vehicle was traveling in the lane that was to the outside of the roadway when it left the roadway, collided with two power poles and a large number of trees, and then returned to the roadway where it had been traveling.
According to reports from Atlanta, medical personnel at the scene of the incident pronounced Willock deceased. After the accident, LeCroy, who had been the driver, was brought to the hospital, but the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that she did not survive her injuries and passed away as a result of them.
Willock, a redshirt sophomore offensive tackle for the Bulldogs who was born and raised in New Milford, New Jersey, took part in each and every game that the squad competed in during the regular season.
