Dianne Ringwald Obituary, Death – It is with great regret that The Village must inform everyone that Dianne Ringwald has passed away. Dianne served on the Village Board as a trustee for more than 30 years and also served as Mayor for the Village for one term. Nearly all of Dianne’s acquaintances felt warm feelings toward her.
She was one of the kindest individuals you’ll ever meet, and she held a special place in her heart for the residents of the Village of Coxsackie. Dianne delighted in taking leadership, assisting others, and working to make the community as a whole a more pleasant place. Over the course of her career, Dianne has participated in a wide variety of committees, groups, and organizations, one of which is the C-A Rotary.
She was the kind of person who would lend a hand to a worthy cause no matter what it was. There are going to be a lot of people who miss her, but in 2020, the “pocket park” that is located close to the Community Garden on Mansion Street will be named after her, and it will serve as a memorial of her. We are deeply saddened by the death of her loved ones, including her family and friends.
On Monday, January 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., family and friends are invited to pay their respects at St. Mary’s Church.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church at 12 o’clock noon.
Following the funeral ceremony, they were laid to rest in the cemetery of St. Mary.
