Donald Anderson Obituary, Death – Donald R. Anderson, 87, of Brandon, passed away at Brandon’s Anchor Communities on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Donald was born in Gary, Indiana on June 4, 1935, to Perry and Ellen McIntire Anderson. Donald attended schools in Hobart, Indiana and graduated from high school in 1954. On December 3, 1955, he married Lynaya Strom, his high school love, in Hobart, Indiana. Shortly after their wedding, the couple relocated to Cedarburg, Wisconsin, where they remained for seven years until relocating to West Bend, where they remained for 16 years. Donald was employed at American Motors in Milwaukee and Badger Laboratory during this time.
They relocated to Land O’ Lakes in 1979, where he worked for Cranberry Products in Eagle River for six years. Then, Donald was hired as a caretaker at a Land O’ Lakes private estate, from which he retired and relocated to Woodruff. They lived in Woodruff for seven years until moving to Waupun in 2003. Donald had pleasure in camping, riding, and snowmobiling. Through Edgewood Community Church, where he loved and acquired many great and loving friends, he discovered Jesus Christ. Donald was a member of Waupun’s Edgewood Community Church. Donald is survived by his three children: Donald P. Anderson of West Bend, Debbie (Tom) Huber of Ripon, and Derrick M. Anderson of Columbus;
Also, three grandchildren: Trent (Angela) Huber, Lauren (Jose) De la Barrera, and Nicholas Bardel; four great-grandchildren: Ayden, Alister, Nico, and Madison; sister-in-law, Phyllis Anderson; brother-in-law, Don (Viktoria) McCuliff His parents, wife, brother Perry A. Anderson, who was killed in the Korean War, sister Judith McCuliffe, and brother Pat Anderson all predeceased him. Friday, February 17, 2023, at 3 p.m., memorial services for Donald R. Anderson will be conducted at Edgewood Community Church in Waupun. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the ceremony. The team of Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun is supporting the family.
