Douglas McKechan Obituary, Death – On Thursday, January 12, 2023, the dead body of Douglas W. McKechan, who was 52 years old and was originally from Bushkill, was discovered at his house. Douglas W. McKechan had abruptly passed away for reasons that are yet unknown. Doug McKechan was the son of Sharon L. (Decker) McKechan of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, and the late Richard A. McKechan, Sr. Doug McKechan was the son of Sharon L. (Decker) McKechan and Richard A. McKechan, Sr. Richard A. McKechan, Sr. and Sharon L. (Decker) McKechan raised Doug McKechan as their son.
Doug was named after his father. Even though he was born in Newark, New Jersey, he passed away in Bushkill, Pennsylvania. He was born in New Jersey. His secondary education was completed at Belleville High School, which is located in Belleville, New Jersey, and he graduated with a diploma from that institution. Doug was a skilled auto mechanic both before he became incapacitated and more recently, and he was responsible for performing repairs to a significant number of the vehicles that were owned by his neighbors. This was the case both before and after Doug became crippled.
Doug has been unable to continue his career as an auto technician during the past few years. In addition to that, he spent a large amount of time working in the construction sector. During that time period, he was a member of the team that was responsible for the construction of the Benjamin Moore Paint store that was located in Flanders, New Jersey. Because of this, he was finally hired by the corporation, and during his time there, he had the opportunity to work alongside his father.
Because of Doug’s active participation in the Drum Corps, which he began doing when he was still in elementary school, his passion for music was obvious from a very young age. And anybody who knew Doug was aware of the fact that he was a rabid admirer of the Grateful Dead. This was something that was common knowledge. What a Protracted and Unusual Journey This Has Turned Out to Be.
Along with his loving mother Sharon, he is survived by his three daughters, Brittney Barrek and fiancé Matthew Haynes of Mount Pocono, Victoria McKechan and fiancé Austin Pitoniak of North Carolina, and Anastasia McKechan of Bushkil; two grandchildren, Sophia and Niklaus; and three brothers, Richard A. McKechan, Jr. and wife Karen of South Carolina, James McKechan and partner Laura of Naples, Florida, and Kevin McKechan and wife Melina of Beth
