The period beginning on April 19, 1990 and ending on September 2, 2021. Dylan Lucas Webber, age 31, of Portland, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2021 at Maine Medical Center. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his passing. On April 19, 1990, Dylan was born in the house that he shared with his parents, Katie Daggett and Chuck Webber, in Augusta. His elementary education began in Gardiner, and he completed his secondary education at Hall Dale High School in Hallowell. After that, I attended the University of Southern Maine for my undergraduate education.
Dylan enjoyed traveling to new locations. And because he worked at the Portland Jet Port, he was able to take advantage of its benefits and travel extensively throughout the United States and Europe at a young age. Where he would be able to sample a wide variety of beers, which would prove beneficial to him in the long run. Dylan’s enthusiasm for making craft beer at home led to the development of both a hobby and a career path for him. After working as a cellarman for Maine Beer Company, he went on to become the first employee at Mast Landings and the head brewer there. He also worked for Maine Beer Company in the beginning. He was introduced to Mike Rankin through a mutual acquaintance, and the two of them went on to found the Definitive Brewing Company together.
Everyone in the community of craft brewers praised him for his incredible ability to make beer, and he received a lot of praise as a result. He put in a lot of effort each and every day, and he never missed a day of work. He had been a vegetarian for a considerable amount of time and had a deep love for all animals, particularly cats. Ed Daggett, the man who had been his mother’s father, had already passed away when he was born. And his paternal grandparents, Bill Webber and Althea Ingraham, who were married to one another.
