Emily Barker Obituary, Death – Emily Barker, who had reached the age of 82 at the time of her passing on September 26, 2019, passed away. Reuben and Marcella (Huelsbeck) Stadler welcomed their daughter Emily into the world on April 14, 1937. Emily’s middle name was Huelsbeck after her mother. She was a member of the Church for a significant portion of her life and has a lengthy history of doing so. On September 22nd, 1953, she said her vows to the man who farmed the land next door, Daniel Barker. Their wedding took place in 1953. In the year 1985, on the 28th of August, he passed away before to her passing. A son named Daniel Jr., whose wife’s name is Dawn, a daughter named Elizabeth Richardson, whose husband’s name is Ken, a son named Michael, a son named Paul, whose wife’s name is Lisa, a son named John, whose wife’s name is Kathy, and a daughter named Kathy Barker were all born to Emily and Dan during their 32-year marriage. In addition, she had a combined total of 10 great-grandchildren and 13 grandkids in her family tree.
She passed away in the Neenah VNA Care Center, where she received wonderful care and was able to live a happy and comfortable life up until the very end. Her final days were spent there. She was also blessed with the opportunity to have her granddaughter Amie work there as a caregiver. This turned out to be a wonderful opportunity for the two of them to develop a special connection with one another, and it was a blessing that she was blessed with this good fortune. Because of everything that they did for Emily, Emily’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the team.
Emily will be warmly remembered not only by her children and grandchildren, but also by the rest of her extended family. This includes Emily’s many nieces and nephews, but maybe most of all by her loyal sister-in-law, Betty (Barker) Wolter. Betty is Emily’s brother’s wife. The funeral service for Emily will be a Mass of Christian Burial, and it will take place on the morning of Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. There will be a visitation on the evening of Wednesday, October 9, 2019, beginning at four in the afternoon and continuing until seven in the evening. Tonight at seven o’clock, there will be a prayer service held for the benefit of the parish. There will be a continuation of the visiting on Thursday, October 10, 2019, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until 11:30 a.m.
