Enovan Lacombe Obituary, Death – Enovan Romero Godoy, 38, of Lacombe was identified as the pedestrian who was murdered on Tuesday after he was struck by an automobile on U.S. 190 in Mandeville. This information was provided by the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office. Godoy was crossing the highway when he was struck.
Charles Preston, the coroner who declared Godoy’s death an accident, determined that Godoy had suffered multiple blunt-force traumas before his death. The results of the toxicology tests are still being compiled. Since Odoy was a citizen of Honduras, the coroner had to contact his next of kin before disclosing his identification. This was done with the assistance of the Honduran Consulate.
According to the announcement, the investigation into the collision is still ongoing at the Mandeville Police Department.
