Francine Galdi Obituary, Death – On January 26, 2023, at 11 a.m., funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun. Metomen’s Union Prairie Cemetery is where the body will be laid to rest. Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, and the church will be open from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Francine Galdi, who was 62 years old, died peacefully at home with her husband Bob by her side on January 17, 2023. Francine was born on February 2, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Joseph Leonard Cranney and Marilyn Ilena (Staub) Cranney. She was the fourth out of a total of six kids. When she was three years old, her family moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In 1978, she got her diploma from Archbishop Wood Catholic High School. She went to Delaware Valley College to study Business Administration. While she was there, she met her husband, Robert. They moved to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, after getting married on December 19, 1981.
During the first five years of their marriage, God gave them two children, Eric Michael and Sarah Anne. In March 1991, the family moved to a dairy farm in the country near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She worked outside of the farm in addition to raising children and taking care of the cows. She was a bookkeeper for Alto Dairy Cooperative from 1992 to 2001, Park Cheese from 2001 to 2013, National Farmers Organization from 2013 to 2017, and Dairy.com from 2013 to the present (2017 to until her death). Throughout her life, she volunteered for a lot of different groups. She served on the Church Council and as a 4-H leader in Fond du Lac County for a long time. Francine liked to cook, especially to bake.
In recent years, she liked going to the East Coast with her husband. Francine is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Galdi, her son Eric (Amy) Galdi and their children Kameron and Kade, her daughter Sarah (Andrew) Lenkaitis and their children Lucas and Norah, four siblings Kathy (Steve) Tuffner, Loretta Rockel, Jeanne (Steve) Boehmer, Ray Cranney, Charles Galdi and Andrew Galdi, and a sister-in-law, Angela (Le Both of her parents and her older brother, Joseph Cranney, had died before her.
