Frank Thompson, who is 57 years old, was charged on Thursday with having a controlled dangerous substance, having drug paraphernalia, and putting children in danger because of something that happened in November.
Authorities said that the school resource officer saw signs of a drug overdose and gave the person naloxone hydrochloride, which is also called Narcan and is a treatment for opioid overdoses. Thompson then showed signs that he was getting better.
Later, authorities said, investigators found fentanyl and “various drug paraphernalia” in a classroom closet.
