Gladys Andrade Obituary, Death – A number of vehicles were involved in a collision that took place on Friday evening in Bridgeport. The crash, which resulted in the passing away of a female victim, involved all of those vehicles. On Linen Avenue, just before 6:30 o’clock in the evening, everything started when a Honda CRV that was traveling in the opposite direction, toward the east, was rear-ended by a Nissan Pathfinder that was traveling in the opposite direction, toward the west. The Nissan Pathfinder was headed in the opposite direction. The power of impact caused by the accident was sufficient to drive the CRV ahead, where it collided with at least three parked automobiles in addition to the path of an approaching Dodge Charger.
Gladys Andrade, 74 years old, was the driver of the CRV that was involved in the accident. She was brought to Bridgeport Hospital after the collision, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and passed away there. According to a statement that was released by the Bridgeport Police Department, the department is keeping the family and friends of Gladys Andrade in its thoughts and prayers at this time. Both of the individuals who were driving the vehicles that were engaged in the accident were taken to Bridgeport Hospital to receive medical treatment after they were involved in the accident.
Both drivers were residents of Bridgeport; one was 22 years old and the other was 27 years old. The man who was behind the wheel of the Pathfinder was 22 years old, and the man who was behind the wheel of the Challenger was 27 years old.
