Glenda Bond Obituary, Death – Last night, Glenda Bond died. We used to have a great time together when we were younger. We would stay up all night in anticipation of Dick and David’s return from their raccoon hunting expeditions. It’s no surprise to me that she and Paula, her daughter, are together again in paradise. Love you Glenda. On the first day of March in 1963, Glenda wed the man who would become the love of her life, Dick Bond. The relationship between the two parties was inseparable.
After 60 years of loving one other and living together, they just had a few months left together before she passed away. Glenda and Dick were blessed with two beautiful children who they named Paula and Sherry. During their whole marriage, the couple was a model of true love for others, and they did everything together, even work. They started Bonds Custom Butchering, which they ran for over 20 years, and they also worked together for a while as truck drivers. One could say that their relationship brought out the best in one other.
Glenda was used to putting in long hours at the office. She enjoyed putting in a long day at work, and she did so throughout her entire life. Glenda had a rural upbringing, so she was familiar with the concept of having to toil away and provide for oneself. She enjoyed activities such as fishing, gardening, and preserving food from her own yard and garden. The two things that Glenda valued the most—her family and her relationship with God—were both of the utmost significance to her. Everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her will grieve her passing.
At the entrance to paradise, she was greeted by a number of her loved ones, including her daughter Paula, her sister Gean, and her parents Glen and Della. Her husband of 59 years, Dick, her daughter Sherry and her husband Tim, her son-in-law Robert and his wife Gina, her grandsons Nathan and Brandon, her great-grandson Augustus, as well as a large number of other family members and friends are all that are left to remember her.
