Greg Wiggins Obituary, Death – The North Hobart Football Club expresses its sincere condolences to the North Hobart family on the demise of Greg Wiggins, who was a much-loved member of the club.
Greg has been an invaluable member of our club for many years, serving in a wide range of capacities during that time. As a result, we have granted him life membership in the organization.
The Wiggins family, who are members of one of the most prominent and influential families in North Hobart, have devoted themselves to the club for many years. They felt an intense affection and devotion for the club. Without Wig, things won’t feel quite the same. In the long and illustrious history of our club, he is among the members who are the most admired and revered.
He is back with his mother, Beryl, and his father, Eric, at this point. Our most sincere condolences go out to Lynette Roberts, who was Greg’s sister. Rest in peace friend. (Photo) The Wiggins brothers, Greg and Eric, in the front yard, celebrating North Hobart’s comeback in 2018.
“I was motivated by Wiggy, and I admired his extended handshake as well as his unwavering devotion to the North Hobart Football Club. Please accept my sincere gratitude, and God bless you. Greg attended each and every game, each and every training session, and each and every club event, just like Eric and his wife. #Legend A pillar of the North Hobart community for the better part of four decades!! RIP.”
“Sincere condolences to everyone who had the fortunate opportunity to call Wiggy a friend. Without a doubt, one of the most memorable persons I’ve made connections with through the sport of football.
RIP Wig.”
