Hilary Green Death, Obituary – The news that Hilary Green had died away after a valiant fight against sickness left us all in a state of deep sorrow. Everyone knew Hilary, but those in the Group 9 breeds and those who showed dogs in Northern Ireland were particularly familiar with her. During this extremely difficult moment, the family is in our thoughts and we offer our condolences to them. Paul Scanlon Gillian Gibson, a close and dear friend of Hilary’s, has penned the following tribute to her:
Hilary Green, from the Zelryn Boston Terrier litter. With Hilary Green’s demise, the world of dogs has suffered yet another heartbreaking loss. In 2013, Hilary was able to get her first show dog, a Boston Terrier named Multi-Champ Havasu Tropical Strom. This dog came out to be quite successful for Hilary. His election campaign was a smashing success in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and all of Europe. Hilary was an active member of both the Boston Terrier Club and the Newtownards and District Canine Club in addition to her tremendous success in the show ring. Anyone who showed an interest in the canine world could always count on Hilary to provide a helping hand and receive positive reinforcement from her.
She was one of the most sincere and remarkable women in the world. Her numerous canine companions will grievously miss Hilary’s infectious grin and hilarious sense of humor whenever they gather ringside. My deepest condolences go out to Nicholena, the rest of Hilary’s family and friends, and especially to her daughter, Hilary’s daughter. We miss you and wish you were here, and we pray that the gentle breezes of heaven may reach your ears and whisper how much we love you.
