Jacqueline Montanaro Obituary, Death – The Customs United Service Alliance and NTEU 161 are reaching out to the community in an effort to solicit assistance for the family of one of our very own, Supervisory Customs and Border Protection Officer Jacqueline Montanaro, and her daughter. The Customs United Service Alliance and NTEU 161 are working together to make this happen. This request is being made with a sad heart and an overpowering sense of remorse for what has transpired. Jackie passed died in the early hours of this morning as a result of the injuries she incurred while valiantly attempting to save her daughter Madelyn from the fire that broke out in their home. Madelyn was able to escape the blaze unharmed. When the fire started in their home, Jackie was frantically attempting to save her daughter Madelyn. Jackie was unable to successfully evacuate the building, but Madelyn was successful in doing so.
Madelyn drew her last breath earlier today in the afternoon after a long battle with cancer. It is impossible for us to fully explain in words the magnitude of the loss that our community has suffered as a direct result of the passing of this extraordinary Supervisor, Colleague, Friend, and Hero. Our community will never be the same. The level of love and commitment that Jackie had at home for her family was only surpassed by her capacity to effectively complete any task at work. Jackie’s ability to do well in her job. Jackie is known for being a diligent worker due to her reputation. She is a customs broker in addition to being a dedicated wife to her husband, William Montanaro, a doting mother to her two lovely children, and the Vice President of the Customs United Service Alliance. In addition, she is a doting mother to her two beautiful daughters.
She held everyone around her to a very high standard and labored constantly to make everyone around her a better officer, a better person, or even just a better family member. She held everyone around her to a very high level. She had an exceedingly high standard for herself and everyone around her. She had exceptionally high standards for the work that was done by all parties involved. In the midst of this incomprehensibly difficult moment, we ask that you continue to keep Will and Elena’s family in your thoughts and prayers and that you also lend us a helping hand so that we may assist Will and his daughter. Thank you in advance for your assistance with both of these requests. The events that led up to this catastrophe are beyond anyone’s ability to comprehend.
