On Thursday, the 19th of January, at 12:30 PM, the funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of Floral Haven Funeral Home. After a valiant struggle against cancer, Jane Ann (Munson) Morgan, age 69, died away on January 12, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was located in Oklahoma. Jane’s parents, John Milton Munson Sr. and Velda Irene (Waddle) Munson, welcomed her into the world on June 11th, 1953 in Grinnell, Iowa. In 1971, Jane received her diploma from Belleville High School in the state of Kansas. After that, she received her nursing education at Asbury. In 1975, Jane wed Rodney Corwin Morgan, the man who had been the love of her life since childhood. They were both incredibly proud of their children, Katie Ann and Charles John, who were born to them as a couple. In 1983, the family uprooted their lives and relocated to Edmond, Oklahoma, where they remained until 2016, when Rod and Jane made the journey to Tulsa. Jane, the lone female in a family with four males, remained resilient while maintaining her sensitivity. As a nurse, she devoted a significant portion of her life to providing care for other people, which she found rewarding. She developed many lasting friendships as a result of her profession. However, the most endearing name that her eight grandchildren used to call her was “Honey.” This was Jane’s favorite moniker. She entertained them with wonderful tales, was always interested in hearing about their day-to-day lives and the things they did, and spent countless hours simply being with them. In addition to gardening, some of Jane’s favorite pastimes were gardening, cooking, sewing, spending time with the ladies from her church, talking on the phone with her friends and brother, and listening to audio books. Jane’s parents, John and Velda Munson, as well as her brothers, Ron and John Munson, and her husband, Rodney Corwin Morgan, all passed away before she did. She is survived by her daughter, Katie Pitt (Matt) of Tulsa, her son, Chuck Morgan (Hannah) of Edmond, (Palmer, Charlee, and Jones); her brother, Jerry Munson (Carol) of Overland Park, Kansas; her brother, Bob Munson (Jane) of St. Louis, Missouri; her brother-in-law, Chuck Morgan (Linda) of Kansas City, Kansas; her sister-in-law, Jan Ros
