Jeremy Renner Obituary, Death – RENO, NEVADA – After being released from the hospital, Jeremy Renner has returned home to finish his recovery from a serious snow plow accident. In a tweet on January 16, Renner verified the information and expressed his excitement for watching the season premiere of his Paramount+ series “Mayor of Kingstown” at home. Variety has asked Renner’s representative for more comment.
When contacted about Renner’s discharge from the hospital, Paramount sent Variety to his tweet. In response to a tweet announcing that the Season 2 premiere of “Mayor of Kingstown” is now streamable, Renner stated, “Outside my brain fog in recuperation, I was really happy to watch episode 201 with my family at home.” After attempting to assist in freeing a family member’s automobile that had become trapped in the snow on January 1, Renner was involved in an accident. He was struck by the actor’s snow plow and suffered serious injuries.
The next day, Renner endured two procedures for traumatic chest damage and orthopedic issues. A PistenBully or Sno-Cat, an enormous piece of snow clearing machinery weighing at least 14,330 pounds, served as the actor’s snow plow. In a video posted on social media on January 5, Renner seemed upbeat as he made fun of enjoying a spa day in the hospital. In the footage, the actor’s eye was swelled shut, and he could be seen using an oxygen mask to breathe. In a statement, Renner’s family expressed their appreciation to the “outstanding physicians and nurses caring for him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the families of Carano and Murdock.”
The family went on to say that they were “hugely moved and grateful for the outpouring of love and support from [Renner’s] followers.” Renner has received a ton of support from his Avengers co-stars as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he has portrayed Hawkeye for over ten years. Following Renner’s accident, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, the Russo Brothers, Chris Pratt, and more all left Renner good wishes on social media.
