Jillian Priestley Obituary, Death – Jillian “Jill” Maree Priestley, who resided in Victor Harbor and received treatment at the facility located at McCracken Views Residential Care, passed away in a tranquil manner earlier this week, on Monday the 16th of January. Her passing occurred in the middle of the week. She was being treated there as a patient at the facility. She was undergoing therapy at the facility where she was residing at the time of her dying. The members of our immediate family as well as all of our close friends and acquaintances are currently going through severe despair as a direct result of hearing this information. Jill Priestley was a wonderful addition to the Priestley family in all three of the positions that she played inside the household: mother, grandma, and older sister. In addition to that, she was well-known for the generosity that she displayed for others. She was married to the late William “Bluey” John Priestley for a total of 32 years up until the time that he died away, bringing their total number of years together to 64.
Jill fulfilled the position of an older sister in addition to the responsibilities associated with her roles as a mother and grandma. She had lived in the Northern Territory for a sizeable portion of her life, and during that time she had worked as a professor at both Yuendumu College and Yirara College, which is located in Alice Springs. Her career had begun in the Northern Territory. She had spent a significant percentage of her time in the course of her career in the Northern Territory training pupils.
This had been one of her primary responsibilities. On the morning of Monday, January 30th, 2023, at eleven o’clock, a memorial service for Jill will be performed in the chapel of the Alice Springs Cemetery. The chapel is located within the cemetery. The memorial service will be held on the Monday following Jill’s passing. Within the boundaries of the cemetery sits the building that serves as the chapel.
