Jim Kearns Obituary, Death – Past player and Kilfeacle and District RFC club member, Jim Kearns has passed away leaving family members and friends in a state of grief. The Rugby Club issued a statement following Jim’s passing: “Our entire organization went into a state of mourning as soon as we found out that Jim Kearns, a former member of our club who had also been a player, had passed away. Jim Kearns had been a part of our club for a significant amount of time prior to his departure. Even after he had finished his playing career, Jim continued to be a devoted supporter of the club. This was especially true during the time when his son Keith was actively involved in the various endeavors that were undertaken by the club, and it was during this time that Jim’s support of the club was most evident.
Both Keith, who is now a part of our coaching group, and his grandson Calum, who is now playing with Kilfeacle, have joined the club, just like their grandfather Jim did before them. Keith is now a member of our coaching group, and Calum is now playing with Kilfeacle. Both Keith and Calum have recently joined Kilfeacle, with the former serving as a member of our coaching staff. During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with Keith, Chantelle, and their children Ella-Jane, Abbie, and Callum.
We are thinking of and praying for all of you. We want them to be aware that we are thinking about and praying for them, as well as the fact that we are thinking about and praying for them. Kay, his best friend and one of his closest allies, was with him along with the rest of his family and the other people who were traveling with them. Because we value your time and want to be as helpful as possible, we have included both the obituary and the funeral arrangements here.”
