A news article from earlier today stated that John Baer had passed away. Two weeks ago, we were grateful that Mr. Baer could be with us to witness his son play in person for the very final time. It was Mr. Baer’s son’s senior year of high school baseball.
This was Mr. Baer’s one and only chance to take advantage of this opportunity. The outcome determined whether it would be the last game of the season or not. This was Mr. Baer’s very last chance to seize the most favorable circumstances presented by that window of potential. The news of the demise of a member of the Baer family has left us in utter disbelief; please be assured that your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. We beg that you kindly accept our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. Please have faith, Michael, that all of us here love you an incredible amount more than anything else in the entire world.
