John Bolte Obituary, Death – John M. Bolte, age 71, a resident of Keyport, New Jersey, died away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. There were no known contributing factors to his passing. On February 11, from noon to three in the afternoon, a get-together to celebrate John’s life will take place at Yesterday’s Restaurant in Hazlet, which is located on Highway/Route 35. The task of ensuring that all of the appropriate arrangements are made has been delegated to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. in Hazlet, which can be found at 3269 State Hwy/Rt 35 N. John was born in Long Branch in 1951, and his birthday is November 22nd.
John’s birthplace is Long Branch. John was quite proud of the fact that he had spent his whole life in Keyport, where he was born and raised. John worked on the assembly line at General Motors Corporation for more than 30 years before he decided to retire from the company in 2009. Before retiring, John worked there till the end of his career. John was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, Pop Pop, uncle, and friend to all of those who were connected to him via blood or marriage. John’s beloved parents, Chuck and Mary (McGuiness) Bolte, as well as John’s treasured nephew, Jordan Bolte, all went away before John did. John was the last of his family members to pass away.
John is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Hermanns) Bolte, his three daughters, Allison Chellin and her husband Matthew (Bel Air, MD), Amy Bolte (Telluride, CO), and Melissa Arthur and her husband Peter (Tinton Falls, NJ), as well as by his brothers, Christopher Bolte and his wife Teresa, and Michael Bolte and his wife Jennifer. Additionally, John is survived by his brothers’ spouses. Aside from that, John is accompanied in death by his brothers (Keyport, NJ). His grandchildren, Catie, Lily, Ansley, Jakey, Jack, Ellie, and Hannah, referred to him as their beloved “Pop Pop,” and they regarded him in the greatest respect. In addition, John is survived by a sizeable number of nieces and nephews, in addition to other members of the family and friends. The desire that John’s remains be cremated in private was honored, as was his wish that his body be burnt.
