John Carey, Obituary, Death – He passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2023, in his home in Aughadoone, Belmullet, County Mayo. His parents, Jimmy Carey and Mary (Keane), passed away before he was born. His older brother Seamus, his cousins, his neighbors, and a great number of his other friends and acquaintances will miss him profoundly and think about him with affection. Man who was always so sweet and gentle, rest in peace.
On Monday, the corpse will remain at McDonnell’s Funeral Home in Belmullet from 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m., and the service will begin at the Church of the Holy Family in Carne, Belmullet, at 8:45 p.m. The burial will take place in the Tarmoncarra cemetery immediately following the funeral mass that will take place on Tuesday at noon. Please only send flowers to members of the family. If you would rather make a donation in lieu of flowers, you may do so by sending it to “Belmullet Community Hospital” with McDonnell Funeral Directors in Belmullet handling the transaction on your behalf.
