John Porter Obituary, Death – John “Eric” Porter, who was 54 years old and from Wall, New Jersey, passed away on December 25th, 2022 while he was at ease in the surroundings of his own house. Eric Porter spent the most of his boyhood in Asbury Park, New Jersey, which is located in New Jersey’s Ocean County, between the beach and the boardwalk. John and Rosemarie Porter welcomed their son Eric into the world on July 19, 1968 in the town of Neptune, New Jersey.
Eric had graduated from M.A.S.T in 1986 and worked as a lifeguard in Asbury Park before he became a firefighter in the city. He was an active member of I.A.F.F. Local 384, which is the International Association of Firefighters Union. In addition to that, he had previously served on the lifeguard patrol in Asbury Park. Eric was recognized for the dedication that he had exhibited in the course of his career as a fireman in order to serve and protect his community. The year 2017 marks Eric’s planned retirement, but not before he has built up a lifetime’s worth of achievements throughout his time in the workforce.
Some of these include, but are not limited to, participating in the search and rescue mission on September 12th, 2001 with his station in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks and receiving the Medal of Valor for his brave acts while he was off duty. Other accomplishments include, but are not limited to, receiving the Medal of Valor for his brave acts while he was off duty. Eric will also be retiring from the military in the rank of Lieutenant. The accomplishment of which Eric is the most proud is the birth of his beautiful daughter Bridget.
She is his pride and joy. A young lady whose growth he found endlessly fascinating and with whom he cherished spending time, whether it was sitting together to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings or to go to innumerable movies on the weekends. She was also a young lady whose development he found endlessly fascinating and who he found endlessly fascinating. He was extremely proud of her accomplishments as a recent graduate of Drew University, and she never failed to make him laugh with inside jokes and cherished childhood memories.
In addition to that, he was very delighted with all of her achievements. Bing Bong. The years of Eric’s retirement were spent in Wall Township, New Jersey, working for the NJ Gravel & Sand Company. Eric found great satisfaction in his work as a gardener in his spare time. Eric was also a well-liked member of Pat’s 30 Acres in Wall Township, where he was frequently seen taking care of the grounds and working the various events that were hosted there during the summer and the off-season.
These events included a horse show, a car show, a motorcycle show, and a motorcycle rally. The birth of Eric Porter was preceded by the death of Eric’s father, John L. Porter. He is survived by his mother Rosemarie Porter, who currently resides in Brick, New Jersey; his wife Margaret Porter and their daughter Bridget Porter, who currently resides in Point Pleasant Boro, New Jersey; his two sisters, Dawn Arillo and husband Guy, who currently reside in Ocean Township, New Jersey; and Noel Swanger and husband Philip, who currently reside in Brick, New Jersey; his cherished nephews and nieces, Douglas Meyer, who currently resides in Brick; Jacob Swanger and wife Christina, who (Spring Lake Heights NJ).
Because he was well liked by everyone, Eric will be remembered with warmth by those who knew him and will be greatly missed by those who did know him.
