Jonathan William Elmore Obituary, Death – Channel 9 has been informed by the Lincolnton police department that a man passed away after being struck and killed by a train on Wednesday morning close to S. Flint Street.
According to the Lincolnton Police Department, the incident took place shortly after ten o’clock in the morning when a pedestrian was struck by a CSX train that was traveling west through town. When he was struck by the train, the pedestrian, whose name has been determined to be Jonathan William Elmore, was heading in a westerly direction on the tracks.
However, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, Elmore “seemed to be oblivious the train was behind him” despite the fact that railway engineers reported to police that “multiple horn signals were delivered.”
According to the police, it is unclear why Elmore was wandering on the railroad rails. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LPD), the crash “appears to be a terrible accident at this time.”
