Jordon “Jordy” Hansen, who resided in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the age of 85, in the comfort of his own home. He was born on August 15, 1937, in Gillett, Wisconsin, and his parents were Gordon Hansen and Clara Olson Hansen. He was the oldest of their children. He had graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School, where he had attended all four years of high school. Jordy just joined the United States Air Force and is serving in the maintenance department of a jet at the moment.
On October 1st, 1960, they exchanged vows in front of family and friends at the Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. The lady who became Mrs. Welsch was Patricia J. Jordy started his career in the automotive repair industry in 1960 when he bought Hansen Auto Repair and became the company’s owner and operator. After the sale of the business, he remained employed at the location until the time of his retirement. After spending a significant period of time as a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, he joined Ascension Lutheran Church not too long ago. Prior to that, he was a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Jordy was a very busy man who participated in a wide range of activities.
He was a member of the Fond du Lac Blue Line Club, played softball for Schlitz Beer, Eagles Club, and a variety of other teams, and was involved in a number of other community groups. Jordy enjoyed the time he had to spend with his family and looked forward with great enthusiasm to watching his grandkids compete in various sports, particularly those involving ice hockey and baseball. Patricia “Pat” Hansen, his loving wife of 62 years, survives him in Fond du Lac. He is also survived by his children, Lee (Julie) Hansen of Fond du Lac and James (Sandi) Hansen of Gurnee, Illinois;
Also, his grandchildren, Nathan Hansen, Mitchell (Sumner) Hansen, Grant Hansen, and Anika Hansen; his great-grandson Cohen Hansen; and his brother Lyle (Kitty) Hansen. He was dedicated The 15th of April, 2019 was the day he died away. Before he was born, both of his parents as well as his younger brother Douglas had already died away. The Ascension Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, which can be found at 901 County V, will be the place where the family will receive guests on the evening of Tuesday, January 10, 2023. The visit will take place from eleven in the morning to two in the afternoon.
