Kennth Hathorn Obituary, Death – According to officials with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, a male victim of the shooting who was 18 years old and who had been shot in Donaldsonville late on Tuesday night reportedly passed away while being treated at the hospital for his injuries. Donaldsonville was the location of the shooting that killed the victim. On the evening of Tuesday, January 17, law enforcement officers were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of Railroad Avenue in Donaldsonville, which is located in close proximity to Houmas Street. The incident took place at approximately 10:40 p.m. Houmas Street was reportedly in the area when the incident took place, as stated by the Sheriff Bobby Webre.
When the deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered a man who had been shot and was sitting inside of a vehicle. The victim’s condition was extremely precarious. The victim, who has been identified as Kennth Hathorn, was taken to a hospital following the incident; however, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away while he was a patient there. The investigation is currently still being carried out in its entirety as of right now.
