Crime Location Search, as well as members of the DWI Task Force and the Major Crash Investigation Unit of the Chicago Metropolitan Police Department, will be conducting investigations into the occurrence at the scene where it occurred (CMPD).
The first findings of the investigation indicate that the Honda was traveling south on The Plaza as it was getting close to Hamorton Place at the time of the collision. When he arrived at the intersection at The Plaza, which was right in front of the Honda as it was approaching the intersection, the motorcycle was traveling in an easterly direction down Hamorton Place. Following his collision with the side of the car as well as the windshield, the motorcyclist found himself back where he started on the road. The Honda finally came to a halt a short while after the accident occurred. Ms. Ida Lynn Freene McDonald, who was driving the Honda at the time of the accident, remained at the site and was examined for any indications of drunkenness.
Her birthday is March 28th, 1970 and she was born in 1970. It was concluded that Ms. McDonald did not exhibit any signs of impairment.
