Kyle Preston Obituary, Death – FERGUS FALLS, MINNESOTA – Patricia Ann Preston On Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the age of 81, a woman from Fergus Falls, MN went to be with her Lord and Savior. Her children were gathered around her bedside as she passed away. Patricia Ewers was the daughter of Algen and Pauline (Wiedeman) Ewers and was born on January 3, 1942, in the town of Angola, Indiana. She attended school in Leslie and graduated with the class of 1960 there. Her hometown was Leslie. Patricia has attended both the Leslie Congregational Church, where she used to be a member, and the Onondaga Community Church, where she attends now.
Recent years have seen her spending the colder months in St. Cloud, Florida, where she is a former champion and a member of the St. Cloud Shuffle Club. Gardening and watching football, particularly games involving her favorite teams, the Michigan State Spartans and the Detroit Lions, were some of Patricia’s favorite ways to pass the time at her home. She also liked viewing the local animals, such as deer and other wildlife, from her back porch. Her family brought her the most happiness throughout her life, and she treasured all of her offspring and grandkids in particular. Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Austin “Chub” Preston; her granddaughter, Brittanie Preston; her brothers, Bob Ewers and Charlie Ewers; and her sister, Margaret Baugh.
Her children Rebecca (Dave) Moore, Tom (Tammalla) Preston, and Tim (Renee) Preston, as well as her grandchildren Kyle (Ashley) Preston, John (Bobbie) Beery, Kacie (Nick) Orlando, Kellie Christopher, AnnJel Moore, and Jordin (Amber) Preston, along with her great-grandchildren Kaylee Lynn, Julianne, Jack Thomas, Avery, Jacob, Paisley, and Hunter; her sister Marjo On Friday, January 13, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning, funeral services will be performed at the Onondaga Community Church. On Thursday, the family will greet friends in the Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids chapel, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. On Friday, the family will greet guests at the church for one hour before to the funeral ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Patricia’s name to the Onondaga Community Church, the McLaren Great Lansing Healthcare Foundation, or the McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
