Our hearts are hurting as we make this announcement, and a profound sense of loss has overtaken us. Our beloved Lauren, who lighted up every room with her contagious grin and giggle, love of having fun and being around people, and the way she danced her way through life, will always be in our hearts. We shall never forget her. Her grandparents, Margaret and Peter Boland, her aunts and uncles, Emma, Ross, Sonny, and Pri, her cousins Jake and Isobel, and all of her other friends will miss the happiest young child who ever lived. She is also survived by her parents, Lisa and Matt, her older brother, Jack, as well as her grandparents, Lillian FitzGerald and Margaret and Peter Boland.
Tragically, her life was cut short. Our baby girl, the newest and most precious member of our family, will always be in our hearts and memories. She will always be a part of us and impossible for us to forget. For both of us, this is something that will always be true. We also pay tribute to Lauren’s grandfather, John FitzGerald, who died away not too long ago. He died away not long ago. Those who worked so hard and selflessly in the pediatric intensive care unit at Our Lady of the Children’s Hospital in Crumlin deserve a sincere thank you.
