Linda Glovach Obituary, Death – It is with a great deal of regret that we must farewell Linda Glovach. Linda was an accomplished author, artist, and rescuer of animals, in addition to being one of the most ardent supporters of Coney Island. If the property that is now known as Coney Island were a person, Linda would be the one who was created from the ground up using its physical components as building blocks.
She exemplified characteristics such as being giving, romantic, and compassionate. She was also the definition of quirky and unusual. Together with her life partner Dave, she has been a staunch supporter of everything that Coney Island has to offer over the years. They are never not present, but their presence is never a hindrance in any manner.
She has been a pillar of support for CIUSA, the community of Coney Island, the borough of Brooklyn, the city of New York, and all of the individuals whose lives she has influenced through her writings, artwork, volunteer work in the community, and her warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
Her passing will be felt profoundly by everyone who had the privilege of calling her a friend, and our team will always hold her up as a bright example of why we do what we do. Linda, may you finally find some rest and may you have a bright future ahead of you.
