Linda Heidt Death, Obituary – Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Linda Heidt of Georgia who has passed away untimely and unexpectedly. Lockport Township High School was where she completed her secondary education and earned her diploma. She tied the knot with the person who would become her closest companion and the love of her life, Scott J. Strysik, and the couple remained together for 31 years until he passed away on January 5, 2012. During that time, she was deeply in love with him.
For the better part of 38 years, Linda was employed by NALCO Water, where she worked in the chemistry department as a chemist. She served as a parishioner at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, where she was also an active member of the church, and she was a former member of both the Crest Hill City Council and the Planning Commission. In addition, she was a parishioner at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to that, she was an active participant in the Crest Hill Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to this, she appreciated being a part of the Italian Cultural Club and the Crest Hill Women’s Civic League since it gave her the opportunity to make a huge number of new acquaintances through these groups. This was another reason why she enjoyed being a member of these organizations. She was a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and all of those roles in her life will be dearly missed by both her immediate family and the extensive network of friends she had.
She was a wonderful person in every aspect of her life. Her offspring will never forget how supportive their mother was of them throughout their life, no matter what activities they were involved in, or how many activities they participated in. Her children will never forget how caring and encouraging their mother was to them throughout their lives. They will never forget this experience, and it will remain ingrained in their minds for their entire lives.
Linda is survived by her devoted children, Adam (Eli) Strysik and Laura (Derek) Riley; her four cherished grandchildren, Eitoku “Jake” Strysik, Mason, Jackson, and Charlotte Riley; her mother, Eleanor Pesavento; two sisters, Debby (Roy) Mitchell and Patty (Brian) Kulesza; in addition to her sisters-in-law, Donna (Dave) Vieceli, Wendy Str (Brad)
