Linda Weinberger Obituary, Death – At the age of 66, Linda L. Weinberger, who resided in LeRoy, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the SSM Health, St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. The Reverend Fr. Joe Dominic will preside over the service. On Saturday, January 14, the church will be open from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. for the purpose of receiving guests in memory of the deceased. At a later time, cremains will be interred at St. Andrew Cemetery, which is located in LeRoy.
Waupun, Wisconsin is the place where on November 27, 1956, Linda Blank was brought into the world as the daughter of Milton and Mathilda (Redman) Blank. She received her high school diploma from Laconia in the year 1975. On November 12, 1977, Linda and James “Chunky” Weinberger exchanged their vows and became husband and wife. She worked at The Feed Mill in Knowles for a very long time and was known there as the “Jill of all Trades.” In the town of LeRoy, Linda was a member of the Saint Andrew Catholic Church. Linda highly valued her family and cherished the time she got to spend with each member of her family, especially her grandchildren. James “Chunky” of LeRoy, Linda’s husband, is the only surviving family member.
Her sons Jim Weinberger, who is married to Melissa, and Josh Weinberger, who is married to Sherri Gradel, both live in Rubicon. Her grandchildren- Kendall, Ethan, and Jack Weinberger. Monica Weinberger of Hartford, who had previously been her daughter-in-law. Bev Schmuhl, David “Charlie” (Connie) Blank, Carol (Keith) Weyer, and Jeff “Mickey” Blank are her siblings. Her siblings in law- Ken (Shirley) Weinberger, Patti Weinberger, Judy (Ron) Rose, Rick Weinberger, Susan Weinberger, Nancy (Larry) Bogenschneider, Anthony (Kim) Weinberger, Gerard Weinberger, Todd (Darra) Weinberger, and Lisa (Dennis) Fleischer. Additionally, her dear friend and former boss, Sue Weinberger.
Additionally survived by other relatives, including nieces and nephews, as well as a large number of friends. Her parents, her in-laws Jim and Helen Weinberger, her brother Gary Blank, and her brother-in-law Tom Schmuhl all passed away before her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The care and support shown to Linda and her family by the Brownsville, Knowles, Mayville, and Fond du Lac First Responders, as well as the Dodge County Sheriff’s department, deserve special thanks.
