Lyn Doody Obituary, Death – She was a lady of integrity and a pillar of strength for her own family, and she was always donating her time to others. Lyn was held in extremely high regard by everyone in our Marching New Zealand family. The wedding took place on August 15, 1992, between Lynn and Dana Doody.
She began her career in the family firm, ByLo IGA, and eventually rose through the ranks to become the proprietor of the establishment, after which she rebranded it as Lynn’s IGA. Lynn’s first job was as a chef for the Caribou School Department, where she worked for eight years. Since then, she has been working as an accounting technician at the Loring Defense Financing and Accounting Service, where she has been employed for the past thirteen years.
She had a lot of fun at DFAS, particularly with the people she worked with because they ended up becoming some of her closest friends. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and she had been a member of the Business Professional Women for a number of years. She took great pleasure in spending time with her family while camping at St. Froid Lake, as well as gardening and preparing meals in the kitchen.
In addition to her husband Dana of Caribou and her mother Lorraine of Presque Isle, she is survived by one daughter, Megan Doody of Caribou, her step-children Jesse Doody and partner Kaileigh Wing of Winterport, Dana Jo Doody and partner Matt Cowing, and Billie Jo Doody and partner Thor Cote all of Hampden, one brother, Gregg Bouchard and wife Debbie of Presque Isle, one sister, Beth Gibbs and partner Robert Gibbs of Her father, Gilman, passed away before his daughter Lynn was born.
