Margaret Blalock Obituary, Death – Margaret Virginia Hendrix Blalock passed away on the Thursday, January 19, 2023. She called the town of Samson in Alabama her home. She has a total of 83 years of experience under her belt.
Funeral services will be held at Samson First Baptist Church on the afternoon of Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., and the Reverends Danny Branch and Sam Totten will preside over the ceremony.
Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the deceased person will be laid to rest in the cemetery of the Pleasant Home Freewill Baptist Church in Geneva, Alabama, under the direction of the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home. On Sunday, beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon, the family will welcome guests at the church. The event will continue throughout the day.
Margaret’s birth took place in Geneva County, Alabama on May 23, 1939. Her parents, William Eli Hendrix and Alma Cotton Hendrix, have now passed away. Her mother and father have both passed away since then. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who showed her offspring and grandchildren a great deal of affection and took great pride in being involved in their upbringing. She treasured her children and grandchildren very much. She had a profound affection for the Lord, and she served Him at Samson First Baptist Church for a significant amount of time with the commitment and faithfulness that He deserved.
