Margaret A. Langolf Death, Obituary – Margaret A. Langolf passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the Touchstone Living Center in North Fond du Lac. She was 90 years old when she passed away. At the time of her death, she was attended to by her loved ones on both sides. She was born on July 6th, 1932 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to parents named Jim Ryan and Marie Fields Ryan. She was the only child of her parents. She wed John Langolf on February 25th, 1948 in the state of Illinois. The ceremony took place there.
It was on October 13, 2012, that he went away, which was three days before she did. Margaret’s career began at Infant Socks, where she worked for a total of six years before moving on to Wells Manufacturing, where she remained employed for over four decades. She has been a part of the Church of Peace for the last seven score and three decades and three years. Within the confines of the family, she was revered as “The Dancing Queen of Polka,” and she took great pleasure in amusing visitors during the Christmas season.
She was very enthusiastic about polka music. Margaret loved to go camping, so much so that she spent many of her latter winters in Arizona. This was one of her favorite hobbies. She is survived by her children, Phillip (Judy) Langolf of Gilbert, Arizona, Sunday Luft of Weyauwega, Suzanne (Dan) Murphy of Gilbert, Arizona, John (Kathy) Langolf of Fond du Lac, and Daniel Langolf of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and her sister Vivian Knueppel of Fond du Lac, as well as her special friend Dave. She is also survived by her special friend Dave. In addition to her children, she is survived by her brother, Daniel Langolf.
Her husband, her parents, her daughter Latina when she was a baby, her brother Tommy, and her sister Yvonne all went away before she did. Her daughter Latina passed away when she was an infant. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with members of the family at the viewing, which will take place on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, which can be found at 31 East Division Street in Fond du Lac.
